Fijian Sali club
These clubs are named after the clawed Sali flower of one of the wild banana like plants. Their more highly developed spur distinguishes them from the gata club. They are designed to cut rather than smash bones. The spur was also used to parry attackers clubs away. These clubs were also used in dances. This is an exceptional example with a very distinctive design to the head.
